Really great BBQ. We had brisket, smoked turkey, and pulled pork. Sides we had were potato salad, coleslaw and BBQ beans. All excellent. Fast friendly service. Well priced. Meals included salad bar. Lots of unusual BBQ choices available for the adventurous. Highly recommended.

The best potato salad I've ever eaten! Jam packed with dill! Really really really good food, a salad bar with all the fixins, generous portions, friendly wait staff, and that local watering hole atmosphere I love when visiting small town America. Will definitely be back!

I have tried Dickeys here in Gillette but I have been told I need to try Pokey's. This did not disappoint. I had brisket and my wife had the Greenough sandwich with a 1 time salad bar and both of these were excellent. We also had fried corn nuggets and mac / brisket as sides. These are awesome a must try.

I stopped here along with some friends on the way back from a backcountry trip in Yellowstone and the Tetons. This place was great and all 11 of us are glad we stopped in. The food came in generous portions and tasted amazing. The price was also very reasonable for the amount we got. Our server was friendly and did their best to check on us frequently. I would definitely visit Pokey’s again if I ever find myself in Gillette in the future!

Doesn't look like much from the outside but don't be fooled. It looks pretty cool on the inside. Country music,TVs, and plenty of stuff on the walls to keep you interested. There were pictures and signed plates (George Jones and others) in a case on a wall. I had pulled pork with Cole slaw and it was delicious. They give you your choice of honey mustard or medium or hot BBQ sauce. The pork was tasty enough that it didn't actually NEED any sauce but, it was delicious with the medium BBQ sauce on it. My hubby had a burger (of course) with a baked potato. It was cooked to perfection and tasty and juicy. We also had a peach 'cobbler' that tasted exactly like a peach 'cake' I used to make, years ago. Our server was friendly and we enjoyed the whole experience. I will definitely go back if I am in Gillette, WY, again. Now, off to hunt for that peach recipe... Mmmm

We're always on the search for good bbq and we definitely found it here. My brisket sandwich was one of the best I've ever had and we've had bbq all over the US. The baked beans are what I want to really rave about. They were incredibly good. Outrageously good, really. Not so impressed with the mac & cheese brisket appetizer. There were just a few meat bits in it and the flavor was just okay. Service was good and our waitress was friendly. Our new go to place when we're in Gillette.

While it's not the best barbecue I've ever had, it's definitely the best in this part of Wyoming. The service was excellent, the food was good, and you're going to get a lot of food for your money. In a town with not very many restaurant options, this is one worth looking into.
